OK, faces are really hard to do in sand on a small scale. Sure, if you have a team of workers, backhoes, etc., and can make the faces 3 ft across or bigger, yes… but 1 ft across? Nope, the resolution in “sand pixels” is probably on the order of 5 to 10 dpi, so for a human face, you’d need about 3 ft across…
