Summer of 2021, I realized I had made Charlie Brown and Snoop a few times, and even Woodstock, but not Linus or Lucy!
You might think that cartoon characters are easy to make, but remember… they only exist as 2-dimensional drawings. Converting that into a 3-dimensional object in the real work can be challenging, especially if the artist only present front views of the characters.

Starting with Lucy’s head…

Then on to Linus…

And a profile view shows how some sand sculptures have one optimal viewing angle… while others, if you have time, can be viewable from 360 degrees.
