Ah, loveable Mickey Mouse, first seen in Steamboat Willy in 1928, is an anthropomorphic mouse created by Walt Disney a replacement for a prior Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Basically, Disney modified the rabbit into a mouse and gave him red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves.
Almost a century old, Mickey is one of the world’s most recognizable cartoon characters, appearing in more than 130 films, plus tv and more..
But…like many actors, little known to the public, our Sand Mickey had many of the issues that famous actors often suffer… opiate addiction for joint pain going all the way back to the accidents during film, such as falling out of planes in “Plane Crazy”, leading to alcoholism and obesity after contracting COVID and sitting in a recliner for weeks…
So, here is Sand Mickey, captured by the paparazzi, just days before entering rehab in southern California…
